In fact i said me that original crusch sleeve should be crushed .So i tapped on it for extended the sleeve a bit .I was at 18.80 when i removed the original and i put it at 19.10mm .I thought that the sleeve will "crush " again..But no ..Under 4 tonnes nothing .So i start solid sleeve at 19 mm . - 0.3 mm will not so hard to remove without machine .
For the prelaod i do the test with string and tensiometer around the bearing housing .Normaly saab give 4.7 kg to 7 kg when you pull , but i have read that some people changed preaload for "heavier " use .Maybe it should be better to have a few more than 7kg , I suppose that it should be increase the gear oil temp .I put a temp sensor on diff plate for monitor and if i need , install oil gear cooling system.
