Why not aim this campaign at the REAL culprit instead, namely GM?

I personally hold a much bigger grudge against company bigwigs who run a company down, and then come crying for cash - than I do against a government that wants to preserve as much as possible of the tax payers' money.

Do you REALLY think that a couple of billion Swedish kronor would be the miracle cure that somehow, miraculously could turn SAAB profitability around after 18 years of GM abuse? Given the current financial state of the world, and the financial state of GM I would actually be surprised if GM even manages to avoid a total bankruptcy. If that day comes, how do you reckon it would feel to have thrown Swedish tax money into a big black hole in another nation, never to be seen again?

I have a hard time making up my mind... Should Sweden give GM money to "save" Saab? I really want Saab to survive. But on the other hand, why give an american company money? A company that has abused Saab for so many years... Why can't Saab just be an all swedish company again... sigh
