    Saabmeeting in Austria

    EXPERIENCE REPORT:
It turned out, that there are many Saabenthusiasts in Austria. This is why our Austrian Saabforum organized a small meeting in Austria last weekend.
It was great fun and the participants were friendly and good-humoured.

The program of our meeting included a guided tour through car-production Magna-Steyr, a visit of the austrian aviation-museum, common dinner, a trip through south-styrian whinestreet and visiting an austrian winery.

Here I have some pictures of our close meeting:

Nice pic... question is who's the fastest

Is your viggen stock or modified?!

    Hello,
at the moment my Viggen is stock.
But if everything will happen like I want it to, my Viggen will be modified with Nordic Tuning in july.

The fastest car at our meeting was the red 9000 Aero. That car performs really well.

But the rarest Saab of our group was...of course.....the 92X.

yeah but how fun is 9-2x?? I think a viggen (real one) is more rare

Nordic will make you pleased! One of my saab was tuned there. That works great! Do you take a trip to sweden to tune or just order the parts?

Yes, we arrive in Sweden on June 4th and then join the anniversary-meeting in Trolhättan. We will travell with a 9000 Aero. I am really looking forward to the event.

For modifiying I will order the parts and than install them here.
Thanks for your information about Nordic. I am really interestd in how it works. Most people say, it is a very agressive tuner. Maptun is more popular. What do you think?

I think most people is full of shit

seriously, Nordic is a VERY good tuner, probebly best one in sweden, Maptun is also very good and have use them both, both tuners works very very well, BUT Nordic have more knowledge about saab, thats my opinion to 100%, I trust Nordic way more then I trust Hirsch.

I have no bad to say about Nordic at all! they have been a long time in this branch and they know what they do and work with.

If you can, explain that stuff about agressiv, what people have told you. My opinion is that the compromisse between power and safe power is outstanding.

(I'm a bit tiered, but I hope you got my point even if the spelling and grammer isent in best shape for the moment )

Thanks frederik for your exact explaination of Saab tuning specialists. You must really be satisfied with the work that Nordic offered you. I will have a look and then inform you about my experiences.

Thanks a lot for your infos.
    One more question:
Why did you sale your Viggen?

Yes I was very satisfied with nordic, and I cant even imagen that you could be anything else than satisfied, not a chanse, I'm really really positive.

I dident got a viggen, my last one was a 9-5 sedan, I sold it cause I get REALLY god money for it (about 20.000-25.000 SEK more than it was worth) and also cause I got two dogs, after the 9-5 I bought a volvo v40 t4, and I sold it after 3 months and 15 000km, I got a offer to buy the subaru I got today for a price who was WAY under list price, actually I still (one year later) can have more money if I change car with a dealer then I gave for it...

and you know, Sweden is a "snowy" country, and I want at least one car with 4wd or awd, the subaru is amazing in snow and ice and crap like that
