    Hirsch upgrading in Sweden

    Hi,

I have just bough a used saab 9-3 1.9 Diesel (150 bhp). Before I drove the the 1.8T Sports wagon with the Hirsch tuning upgrade (195 BHP). I asked the Saab dealer here in Denmark and it would cost 18.000 DKK to upgrade the diesel engine from 150 to 175 BHP. I was wondering what the price and tuning possibilities in Sweden are, as it would take me 30 minutes to get to malmö, for example... Thanks!

Thanks for the link! Price is quite attractive. I would prefer Hirsch I think as they are the official SAAB tuner and it doesn't 'ruin' the factory warranty...

The software costs 12900SEK exkl. installation. The price for the installation depends on wich saab dealer you ask. Try ANA in Trollhättan..

Ok, thanks guys. I think I will try to call some SAAB dealers. By the way, is there anyone who has experience with a similar upgrade, I mean is it worthwhile?

Please advise Hirsch in St Gallen or Ruckstuhl. Especially since you are pretty close to Europe (at least closer than the majority of the swedes). And additionally, since the currency of danish kronor is reasonable (in comparison with our money) you could end up paying less than 11.000 DK for the upgrade (VAT included, but not installation).
Hence, you will keep the total grand lower if you travel to Switzerland.
Naturally, the trip cost money, but the trip is worth as vacation. What could be better as a vacation than enabling more juice to your vehicle.
    Good luck.
