an original aero?

Hello to all saab people!

I've been wondering, whether or not this car is an original aero:

The add says:

Enligt Saab klubbens hemsida skall bil med detta chassinummer vara en äkta Aero 900 T16at35lsr-Kat (YS3AD35L4H2003375)

As far as I could tell, the chassi number tells that it's an original 16 valve "full boost" turbo, made in Trollhättan. But it doesn't have the aero bumpers etc.?

Is there any way one would be able to tell, whether or not the car is "a real aero"? The sticker/plate in the driver door or under the door panel would indicate if the car had been labeled as an aero at the factory, but as it seems, it doesn't have the markings anymore...

Strange car..says in the ad that it was imported 1988, but not according to Vägverket's page. (Direktimport: Nej)

I think it is an ordinary T16. Wrong color on a Aero for this year.

I know this comes a tad late, but still, thanks for your insight :P

Didn't get the car, since I figured too it wasn't a "real" aero.

Instead, got myself 1988 OG900T8ic.

Though, at the moment, it has a few problems..

Anyhow, glad to have a saab - finally.
