Hi,
Nice pics. Will try to remember the "roof rack trap"... I've already tried the "big fat trailer behind 9-5 Wagon"-trick. Fooled a Porsche Cayenne S into racing me.
A tip though, change that mesh grille into something with significantly larger holes in the honeycomb. The one you have on now will totally block airflow at speed, which is detrimental to your intake temp.

It looks pretty much the same like the IC i have at home which i havent installed yet (I guess im just a lacy mofo...)
Any noticeable improvements?

I have oticed a great improvement. when it was 80 degrees F, the car was much slower. Now with the new IC, when it is 80 degrees F the car feels like it is much cooler, like how it performs with 60 degrees F air temp.... so now I am not worried about the warm weather...
