1987 5 door T8

Well here is my 1987 5door T8 in Cirris White, in the UK the 5 door models are unloved as everyone wants a 2 or 3 door turbo...

since owning the T8 I have done a lot to it like adding.......
leather interior from a 1990 T16
fitting a lovely Carlsson/Momo steering wheel..
making & fitting a custom Grille..
the T8 sits on Inca's but I do have a set of minilites to go on..

as for mods I have done a little to it...

Heuschmid HS2 fast road cam
remove the EGR system
modified/upgrade the PCV valve
volvo 740/760 Intercooler
a intercooler water misting kit
APC tweek
ITG airfilter & modified airbox
custom made intake pipes in stainless steel
Bailey DV26 dumpvalve
custom made 3" stainless steel exhaust with "carlsson" tailpipes
silicone vacuum lines under the bonnet
AVO -35mm lowering springs

next on my list is to wrap the exhaust & fit a 5th injector

the grille has been on the car about 18 months now, its different & suits the T8 I have a colour coded grille & a standard chrome one as well...

the car goes very well & upsets a lot of modern euroboxes

What have you done to give the valve cover that "dull" shine?
Looks NICE!

Hopefully I will buy another T8 this thursday, if it doesn´t show to be a rosthög. (old one goes to scrap yard in the end of this week)

I've been thinking about adding more airflow to my FMIC for months now.
so I modified the bumper ie no numberplate
I have only removed the "ABS" plastic bumper skin at the moment & removed the solid foam inner block. I'll finish it later this weekend

its a Bailey DV26 dual piston it works Fine its been on the car about 1 year now with no problems at all it sounds lovely too

I have finished the alloy bumper backing plate all it needs is painting, I also took off the bumper skin ready for the "mesh" to be added
