    Engine sounds like a diesel and with no power after rebuild of hybrid T5/T7

    Good morning, all!
    Hope to find a "magician" to help out with my newly created mess

    I just installed a hybrid engine in my 2007 9-5, 2,3t BioPower as the old engine gave up.
    My "hybrid" is as follows: T5 block with "everything new", T7 head with 9000 CSE camshafts, inlet from the old 2007 engine but with a throttle body and "cobra" from a 2003 9-5 to fit the older version of the oil-trap/crank case ventilation housing/connections, standard turbo and fuel injectors from the 2007 engine.

    Now to the issue.
    The engine starts with no problem and the car even drives (made a short test drive) but sounds like a diesel (spiking) and with no power.
    It sounds and feels like part of it wants to run "in the opposite direction".
    My conclusion is that a possible reason is the ignition comes much too early.
    Was speculating if there might be something different positioned with the crankshaft in relation to the reading by the crankshaft sensor on the 2007 engine, from the one in the T5 block?
    Or differences of the camshafts?
    I'm quite sure the engine as such and all surrounding parts are ok (at least they worked fine from where they are taken) so I hope all now comes down to the software.
    Is there any merciful soul out there that could help solving such problem "on distance" (living "in the middle of nowhere" in the forest around Alingsås, Sweden, with only this one car to go somewhere) or does one need to have physical access to the car/ECU?

    Will be ever so grateful to any and all advice on this.

    Check that cam timing is correct.

    What crankshaft position sensor is used? The one from the old 2007 B235?
    What DI-casette is used? The one from the old 2007 B235?

    It is not a uniqe build. I've done plenty of these myself. I would advise to stick with the B235 cams if youre still on the stock GT17 turbo.
