I'm a young italian people and 900 classic enthusiast..
I would like to know the difference between the yellow montecarlo cabrio and the normal yellow cabrio production.
you know the serial number of the chassis of montecarlo.
you know this argument?or you know a people that is owner of montecarlo that can help me?

Saab produce the Mc yellow both for Us market, there they was called SE and that is for special edition (also in platina grey) and also in TurboS version, TurboS version was numbered that SE not was. If we compare Us version SE and TurboS for other markets, as the diferens is the rims, on us market they have the old Aero rims, on TurboS version they have Aero92 rims, and also a soft cover for the convertible when it is down. Also it was fitted with a wind cover. TurboS have numbers fitted on the dashboard. Both versions have the darkgrey interior buffalo.
And this was only for 1991 years model.
From 1992 the yellow color is an ordinary color that you could order from a 900 injection convertible up to the aero model TurboS
