    roofspoiler

    hello.

Can someone who has fitted a roofspoiler on the 9-3 tell me this:

how can you fit it and STILL KEEP the 3rd brake light and washer jet/nozzle?

I have seen a blue viggen or 9-3 with this, but the roofspoiler is made for ng900 with no brake light at the top of the hatch/tailgate???

    tack! Thanks!

    Hey Abdukted!..

The thing is, you need to really carve alot out of the spoiler. It doesn't leave you alot of material left. in addition to that you need to grind the top of the brakelight aswell. Still, it might not be enough clearance to open the rearhatch fully. So it's alot of work, that may pay out. The easiest way is to throw away the brakelight.

    Hi Mike!

I think in the USA maybe it is required to have the third brake light?
maybe a LED custom light that is slim and will fit... but what happens to the washer nozzle/jet that is part of the brake light?

Plug it.. hahaha... do you really use it?... I know I don't....
Yeah, a custom LED light might be the answer. There's alot of aftermarket lights that will fit from the inside of the rear window...

do you need to disconnect the fluid from the nozzle somehow? where will the washer fluid go? into my trunk?

    LOL...
I'd disconnect the pump... so it won't pump any washerfluid... prob' the easiest way....

do you know where the pump is for the back? different than for the front? I still use the front washers!

It seems to be the same pump as for the washerfluid in the front.

I'd then just cut the hose going to the rear and direct it to pump back into the washerfluidcontainer... that way it won't matter how much or how long it pumps... it'll just go round and round..

It'd also be pretty McGuyversome to connect the rear fluid-hose to the front washernozzles ... to get that special "Siffreidi"-nozzleeffect that the ladies like so much

Maybe it's possible but a bit tricky, I don't know.
